If this happens to you, use the Browse button on the error dialog box to browse to the Python executable, most likely located in C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-p圓\python.exe. When you try to launch a script automatically by double-clicking it, it's possible you'll get a message saying Windows doesn't know which program to use to open your file. py files represent a Python script and that it should use the Python interpreter to run the script, the script will launch immediately.
Your operating system (Windows) can run scripts directly.
Most of the time we've run scripts in this course, it's been through Spyder.
